Goal Setters App UbD Lesson Plan

Introduction

In an age where digital tools increasingly shape personal development, integrating educational frameworks into app design can enhance user learning and engagement. Understanding by Design (UbD), developed by Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe, offers a backward design model that begins with identifying desired outcomes and then plans instruction to achieve those goals (Wiggins & McTighe, 2005). Applying UbD to a goal-setting app ensures that users not only set goals but also understand the principles behind effective goal-setting, leading to deeper learning and sustained personal growth.
